Job Summary

Social Media Ad Manager

As the Social Media Ad Manager you will work with marketing team to develop advertising campaigns

to meet the goals provided in briefs from CEO/marketing director. Once campaigns are ready

you will also be building and launching campaigns in the respective platforms and analytics to provide

meticulous reporting and optimization recommendations. You will work closely with our content/social team

in order to develop the ongoing social advertising plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for increasing sales or other objectives such as new users website clicks
  • Take the lead on new business digital projects as needed
  • Passion for social media an innovative understanding of marketing and forward thinking are vital to this role
  • Responsible for managing the daily advertisements and promotions
  • Managing the daily monthly and yearly budgets
  • Knowledge of managing unpublished ad campaigns for some marketing promotional or other campaigns
  • Advise marketing teams managing social properties on the latest developments and best practices for social media related to our goals

and monitor to ensure proper implementation and results

  • Collaborate in the execution and reporting of social advertising campaigns with the team
  • Must be an innovative strategic thinker who isnt afraid to jump into the mix by making recommendations offering new ideas and asking questions
  • Excellent communication and writing skills are critical
  • You must work well in a fast-paced environment including the ability to make quick decisions that fit the framework of the overall strategy
  • You must be willing to work on weekends and in off hours if a post needs to be boosted

Required Skills

  • Must be a self starter
  • Experiencing building digital media or social media plans buying and implementing
  • Experience writing and selling in proposals/plans for social marketing efforts
  • Solid working knowledge of digital disciplines including to Facebook Facebook Power Editor Facebook Business Manager
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Required Experience

  • 2 years advertising experience (preferably Facebook marketing)
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a digital environment
  • Bachelors degree with a major in marketing or business management preferred
