The mission of the Division of Public Health is to protect and promote the health of Alaskans. As a member of the HAVRS team you will have the opportunity to make important contributions to this mission and make a difference in improving the health and well-being of Alaskans. The Alaska Health Analytics and Vital Records Section (HAVRS) is chiefly responsible for the administration of:
1. The Alaska Electronic Vital Records System (EVRS) which collects records of birth death fetal death marriage divorce adoption and induced termination.
2. The Alaska Health Facilities Data Reporting (HFDR) program which collects records of inpatient and outpatient discharges.
3. The Alaska Cancer Registry (ACR) program which collects records of newly diagnosed cases of cancer.
