At Anglian Water were delivering two multi-billion-pound reservoirs the largest and most complex projects in our history to secure a sustainable water future for millions. As a Procurement Coordinator in our flagship Reservoirs Programme youll be at the heart of the action supporting the full source-to-pay process of critical materials services and works that keep these projects moving.
Working alongside a team of Programme Procurement Managers and Procurement Specialists youll help plan coordinate and track pre and post procurement activities across multiple project phases. From managing documentation and supplier communications to raising purchase orders and monitoring progress youll ensure procurement runs smoothly efficiently and to schedule making a real impact on projects that will shape our region for generations.
What youll be doing
Youll play a vital role in keeping the Reservoirs Programmes procurement activities running smoothly from raising purchase orders managing RFQs supporting competitive procurement activity developing procurement pipeline demand and helping resolve supply chain issues. Working closely with project managers technical and commercial teams and suppliers youll coordinate communications schedule meetings and ensure procurement needs are clearly communicated and understood.
Youll maintain accurate records prepare reports for stakeholders and help ensure compliance with legislation Anglian Water policies and programme requirements. Youll also support post-contract activities from processing agreements to assisting with supplier performance reviews helping to build strong productive relationships across the supply chain.
What it takes to be successful
Were seeking a highly organised proactive and analytical professional with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills who possesses confidence in using Microsoft 365. Youll thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels while keeping projects on track through clear thinking and attention to detail.
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or related field desirable
Experience in procurement supply chain or project support role
Hold or working towards a relevant professional certification (e.g. MCIPS) - desirable
Experience working within a Major projects environment (preferably construction or infrastructure)- required
Familiarity with procurement processes and documentation within a regulated environment
Understanding of SAP ERP system (SAP4 HANA/Ariba preferred) - desirable
Knowledge or experience of working within the Utilities industry - desirable
