A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DATA VALIDATION REPRESENTATIVE

As a Data Validation Representative you edit and post electronic demographics and charge files manually enter demographics and charges and resolve discrepancies. You monitor and confirm receipt of charges through department logs pulling demographics and requesting reports. You work with the manager to correct coding errors improve processes and adhere to all compliance issues regarding federal state and city rules and regulations. You provide excellent customer service to patients and clients while maintaining patient payor and client relations. You are challenged in the position and expected to meet performance goals.

Your attention to detail organization and time management skills are essential to success. You will enjoy being a part of our Data Validation team!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of the billing process and terminology preferred
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team
• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
• Proficient keyboarding skills
• Certification or associate degree in a related study preferred OR a minimum of 1 to 2 years of medical billing experience

WORK SCHEDULE

Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday. The hours and scheduled start time are flexible.
