Job Description

Business Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Business Analyst within the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) will work with the business community to understand desired business needs and requirements and determine the feasibility of strategic initiatives across the firm.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with all stakeholders understand the business needs and how the initiatives would affect each stakeholder and the enterprise as a whole.

Through structured governance leverages the EPMO tool library and standards to efficiently:

  • Determine program scope
  • Define program goals and objects
  • Determine Program Risks and communicate these risks to stakeholders
  • Determine procurement needs
  • Estimate program budget

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree and 3 years of related experience
  • 1-3 years of Business Process Engineering (BPE) experience
  • 3-5 years of BA Requirements Analysis and Documentation
  • 1-3 years of Test planning and execution
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

DESIRED:

  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM) knowledge
  • PMI Certification
  • Experience/Knowledge of PM Tools (MS Project Clarity etc.)
  • Financial Systems experience a plus
