Employee Benefits Account Manager Assistant
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Employee Benefits Account Manager Assistant to join a team. This role provides critical administrative support to thr Benefits Account Manager Benefits Producer and client base focusing on group or individual coverage. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of insurance excellent organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers a hybrid work environment after an initial 90-day in-office training period.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $20 - $22 per hour for non-licensed candidates; up to $55000 if licensed.

- Hybrid work schedule available after onsite training period.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Benefits Account Manager and Producer.
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation in the agency database.
- Prepare and input data for quoting through online portals or rating platforms.
- Verify quotes insurance policies and changes for accuracy.
- Prepare and send renewal documents prior to renewal.
- Process enrollments changes and terminations with carriers including COBRA TPAs.
- Prepare enrollment materials rate sheets and proposals for client presentations.
- Assist clients with billing claims issues portal logins and group administration updates.
- Prepare compliance documents such as Annual Certification Forms and Group Size Verification Forms.
- Stay informed about industry trends carrier updates and new products.
- Provide backup support to department personnel as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Prior experience in insurance or a basic understanding of benefits is required.
- Willingness to work towards a Life and Health Insurance License is preferred if not already held.
- Familiarity with AMS360 is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
