Reach Game Studios is looking for conceptartists to join the art department and bring ideas to life forthe studios upcoming FPS RPGGLORY.
Responsibilities:
As a conceptartistyou will be responsible for:
- Translating conceptsfrom designers into 2D art designs including characters and creaturesenvironments weapons and armour and other concepts as required.
- Work with the 3D team to design concepts that arepractical and useful to those artists.
Requirements:
For this rolewe are looking for:
- A great showreelor portfolio of concept art in a variety of art style including sketching colouring inking etc. (No prior shipped are required for this position.)
- Familiarity of the concept art pipeline for interactive entertainment preferred but not essential.
- High degree of familiarity with software such as Photoshop etc.
- Understand design principles and methodologies particularly with regards to concept artand howit ultimately becomes in-game art.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent team-workingand leadership skills.
- A passion for videogames science fiction RPGs and/or shooters preferred.
Remuneration:
The position is currently a contract royalty-based position with view to full-time employment post-launch. Contract amount iscompetitive and negotiable.
Location:
