What You Will Do:
As a Senior Industrial Engineer you will support plant site initiatives projects and activities including the application of Lean Manufacturing Operational Excellence Quality Engineering Project Engineering and discipline-specific concepts.
Identify projects related to cost reduction quality improvement or productivity improvement; monitor and analyze turn backs to develop corrective actions
Contribute to Visual Management & Control Layout Flow & Linkage and Standard Work according to operating system
Participate in and lead Kaizen events
Improve production work cell and process flow design; process time studies to ensure accuracy of routing and identify opportunities
Develop and update process maps; developing and updating Value Stream Maps (VSM) Standard Work Standard Work combination sheets and load charts
Supporting the Process Certification process
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in a STEM field and 5 or more years experience in an engineering manufacturing project management process improvement/continuous improvement or closely related industrial environment OR a Masters degree and 3 or more years experience in an engineering manufacturing project management process improvement/continuous or closely related industrial environment
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (CORE 6S VSM 3P etc.)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Qualifications We Prefer:
Degree in Industrial Engineering
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Experience with process/continuous Improvement initiatives
Experience in manufacturing and non-manufacturing process improvements
Proficiency in Excel Macros or other programming languages; ability to data mine through multiple information systems
Understanding of capital acquisition process

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
