Job Summary
Job Title: Polisher / Wooden Painter
Location: Sharjah UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surface preparation sanding sealing staining painting and polishing on wooden furniture and joinery items.
- Apply various finishes such as PU NC lacquer stains and paints to achieve luxury-quality surfaces.
- Match colors grains and shades accurately according to design specifications and sample references.
- Read and interpret finishing schedules samples and technical drawings for precise execution.
- Ensure flawless finishing quality with meticulous attention to detail at every stage of work.
- Inspect finished products to meet high craftsmanship standards.
- Collaborate with carpenters supervisors and designers to meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Maintain tools spray guns and polishing equipment in excellent working condition.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum 47 years of experience as a polisher or wooden painter including at least 23 years in the UAE luxury furniture or fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of PU NC polyester lacquer stains and decorative finishes.
- Ability to deliver consistent high-quality finishes on luxury furniture and joinery items.
- Skilled in spray painting hand polishing touch-up work and surface corrections.
- Familiarity with modern finishing materials chemicals and safety procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to premium finishing standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical training or certification in polishing or painting.
Other Details:
- Salary: Will be discussed during the interview based on skills and experience.
- Overtime: As per UAE labor law.
- Working Hours: 9 hours per day.
- Working Days: 6 days per week (Sunday off).
