Job Summary
About the Role
Are you passionate about quality and love writing code Were looking forsomeone to take charge of expanding our test automation coverageand own the overall quality process. The right candidate will have a demonstrated track record of improving quality throughexpanding automated testing as well as experience wrangling the manual last mile of testing. This position is part QA Manager part automation engineer.
Must haves
- Minimum 3 years commerical experience with software QAofiOS Android big browser and mobile web platforms
- Must be able to code; demonstrated ability to expand automated test coverage
- Fire in the belly with a hunger for building great products; must be self-driven and motivated
- Able to work independently; ableto coordinate and drive testing plan with distributed team
- Keen eye for quality and a tastefor perfection plus an uncanny ability to breakeverything you touch!
- Significant overlap of working-hours overlap with IST or PT timezones
- Comfortable writing JavaScript
Nice to haves
- Love of food - if you drink soylent look elsewhere!
- Experience with JavaScriptunit testing frameworks such as chaimocha or similar
- Experience with JavaScriptintegration testing frameworks such as cucumber protractor or similar
- Working knowledge of server-client/RESTfularchitecture
- Knowledge of MEAN stack and/or hybrid native (ionic)apps
