Job Summary

Description:

The Logistics Supervisor will work on-site at the manufacturing facility to supervise plant logistics operations on the assigned shift; ensuring the precise and efficient movement of materials components and finished goods to support aerospace manufacturing. This role requires a hands-on leader who can leverage SAP for real-time inventory management solve complex logistical challenges and adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a dynamic startup environment. The responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics; including receiving warehousing kitting and shipping
  • Manage daily work assignments and schedules of Logistics personnel directing work to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
  • Manage interpersonal issues both within the Logistics team and between Logistics and other departments
  • Supervising material flow to ensure that materials are consistently delivered to the production line with 100% accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP-including goods receipts stock transfers cycle counts reconciliation etc.-to ensure data integrity and production readiness
  • Monitor material flow to prevent shortages delays or bottlenecks
  • Serve as a point of escalation for logistics-related issues applying structured problem-solving techniques to resolve disruptions quickly
  • Manage the Health & Safety of all assigned personnel maintaining a strong culture of safety within the team and compliance with
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures for Logistics
  • Address issues with Logistics personnel issuing discipline as required
  • Ensure that work instructions are being followed and are updated as needed
  • Monitor existing and develop new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report out on Logistics KPIs
  • Provide root cause analysis and solution development for KPIs below target
  • Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure proper shipments
  • Embrace change as a constant adjusting plans and resources to meet evolving production and business needs
  • Champion flexibility and resilience within the Logistics team ensuring they can pivot quickly without compromising safety quality delivery or any other metric
  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers logistics provider(s) and Archer Team
  • Perform all other duties as assigned/required

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management/Logistics
  • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics in an industrial environment
  • Ability to adapt to a continuously-changing environment with varying objectives
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze interpret and summarize results; presenting large quantities of data with an attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks while working with minimal direction
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office / G-Suite skills including query techniques Pivot tables VLOOKUP and graphing
  • Self-motivated / results driven
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Office and SAP; Knowledge in PowerBI and Looker is an additional advantage
  • Preferred material procurement experience
  • Must have valid Drivers license

Must meet MFG physical general requirements

  • Work different shifts and/or work weekends including overtime.
  • Work in hot and/or cold environments
  • Work around heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery
  • Wear safety equipment such as safety glasses sleeves earplugs and steel-toed shoes
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time each day
  • Frequently bend stoop reach and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Work in tight or closed in spaces
  • Regularly climb ladder/man lift/stairs/crawl under vehicles if necessary
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
