The Traineeship
We have a 12-month Business traineeship opportunity based in our Geebung Endeavour Foundation Industries site.
In this traineeship you will learn with one of the largest disability service providers in Australia Endeavour Foundation whilst completing a Certificate III in Business. Within Endeavour you will placed with the Endeavour Foundation Industries (EFI) team. This portfolio of Endeavour Foundation operates over 30 commercial operations across the Eastern seaboard covering a diverse product mix predominantly in Packaging (food general pharmaceuticals) Document Destruction Recycling and Manufacturing to commercial customers.
The traineeship will involve learning various aspects of Administration Support ensuring smooth operation of office activities at the site.
The traineeship will offer a wealth of knowledge to build a foundation for an aspiring business professional plus the advantage of working in a supportive team environment with a dedicated Community Solutions Field Officer who will guide you through obtaining your Cert III in Business.
What will you bring to the role
Our team will teach you during the traineeship but there are some minimum requirements and key traits were looking for:
- An aspiration to work in an office environment
- An eye for detail with the ability to follow directions well
- Internal customer service and liaise with other departments within Endeavour
- Understand the importance of client privacy
- Has a natural ability to pick up systems quickly
- Enjoy working with data
- Ability to work Monday to Friday full time
- Pass a Police Check
- Able to obtain a blue card & NDIS Workers Screening check (we pay for this)!
- Provide two professional references
- Successful candidates will participate in a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
- Bring a keen attitude and a willingness to learn!
