David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a German speaking Technical Customer Service Representative to join their team in Lisbon.
Position: Technical Customer Service Representative
Location: Lisbon Portugal
Work model: on-site
Employment type: fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract
Remuneration: Base salary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle customer inquiries across multiple channels including phone email live chat social media and messaging platforms.
- Deliver support for pre-sales questions general inquiries and basic technical issues.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand tone in all customer interactions both private and public.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate support tiers or departments.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve service requests or help desk tickets.
- Manage and prioritize personal ticket queue in alignment with team objectives and managerial guidance.
- Review support documentation and contribute feedback to improve knowledge base content.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native / fluent in German (C2) both verbal and written. Fluent in English (minimum B2 level.
- Previous experience in customer service would be advantagous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across various platforms (phone email chat social media).
- Basic understanding of customer service principles and the ability to follow standard procedures.
- Ability to handle technical inquiries and troubleshoot common issues with guidance.
- Ability to quickly learn new softwares and technologies
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced or evolving support environment.
