Cardiac Sonographer (Permanent Role) Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 10 hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Responsibilities: - Perform echocardiograms including transthoracic transesophageal (TEE) and stress echocardiograms.
- Assist with structural heart imaging and interventional procedures as needed.
- Analyze images and provide accurate preliminary interpretations to cardiologists.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain clear and complete documentation of all procedures performed.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
Qualifications: Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
- Experience with Structural Heart Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Stress Echo is highly desired
Certifications (Required at time of hire or transfer):
- Must have one of the following:
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)-through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)-through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
