Job Summary

Cardiac Sonographer (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 10 hr Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms including transthoracic transesophageal (TEE) and stress echocardiograms.
  • Assist with structural heart imaging and interventional procedures as needed.
  • Analyze images and provide accurate preliminary interpretations to cardiologists.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
  • Maintain clear and complete documentation of all procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
  • Experience with Structural Heart Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Stress Echo is highly desired

Certifications (Required at time of hire or transfer):

  • Must have one of the following:
    • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)-through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
    • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)-through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
