JOB TITLE: Cable Assembly - TEST
LOCATION: Clearwater FL
PAY RATE: Up to $27/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 4/10 schedule Mon Thurs 5:00 AM 3:30 PM EST. Overtime possible on weekends.

Summary:
-
Perform cable builds and assembly in electronic mechanical electromechanical and optical areas.
-
Responsibilities include setup troubleshooting calibration diagnostics equipment maintenance and cable testing.
-
Work from schematics engineering drawings and written/verbal instructions.
-
Operate test equipment conduct HIPOT and continuity testing and document results in prescribed formats.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
1 2 years of cable assembly and testing experience (HIPOT harness soldering copper/coax wiring)
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints wire harness prints diagrams and process instructions

Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills (hobbies like soldering or model-building a plus)
-
Mechanical/electrical assembly of modules boards panels and frames
-
Quality inspection rework and testing of prototype assemblies
-
Cable harness and soldering experience
-
Experience using hand/power tools crimping stripping and assembly operations
-
Strong writing and computer skills; English reading/writing required

Familiarity with IPC 610/620 standards preferred (IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification a plus)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
