About the position
Provides analysis and engineering related to the design development and integration of hardware software machine interfaces and all system level requirements to provide an integrated IT solution deployed in or supporting cloud environments. Develops integrated system test requirements strategies devices and systems. Leverage automation tools to streamline cloud operations such as provisioning monitoring and scaling. Monitor and optimize cloud performance and ensure the cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
Builds analyzes and refines Cloud IT systems requirements. Translates systems requirements into applications prototypes. Plans and designs systems architecture. Writes debugs and maintains code. Determines and designs applications architecture. Develops cloud migration strategies to move application workloads to the cloud. Optimizes performance and cost of the cloud infrastructure by identifying opportunities to improve resource utilization and reduce costs. Ensures the cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards. Determines output media/formats and designs user interfaces. Works with customers to test applications. Assures software and systems quality and functionality. Integrates hardware and software components. Writes and maintains program documentation. Evaluates new applications software technologies; and/or ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies principles and practices to the delivery of application software services.
Key Responsibilities:

Design deploy and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS Cloud Platform.

Leverage a wide array of AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS and API Gateway to build robust solutions.

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate resource provisioning.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.

Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Monitor and manage cloud systems identifying and resolving issues to ensure operational continuity.

Work with DevOps practices to integrate and automate cloud services within CI/CD pipelines.

Provide guidance and support to technical teams on cloud services and infrastructure.

Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends evaluating their impact and potential benefits.

Document cloud architectures configurations and processes for effective knowledge sharing and support.
Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.

7 years of experience in cloud systems engineering with a focus on infrastructure management and operations.

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Ability to design resilient systems with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Extensive experience with AWS cloud platform and relevant certifications preferred.

Strong understanding of networking security and virtualization concepts.

Proficiency in scripting and automation with languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.

Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
