Job Description
This temporary-to-hire position is for an X-ray Technician in an outpatient primary care and specialty clinic. The technician will perform X-ray procedures on adult patients utilizing digital radiography (DR) and electronic health record (EHR) systems. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience in an adult outpatient or acute care setting. The position is a 5-day 8-hour shift Monday through Friday.
- Utilize digital radiography (DR) equipment and image processing systems (Philips PACS).
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record system (Epic).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an adult outpatient clinic or adult acute care setting.
- Proficiency in using Epic EHR system.
- Reliable transportation (personal vehicle required).
- Active Washington State license.
- Facility may call off the technician for up to one shift per pay period.
- Position is available to both local and non-local clinicians; non-local clinicians must be willing to relocate if offered a permanent position.
- No weekend work required.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- No floating between departments.
- No block scheduling accommodations.
- Scrubs will be provided.
- No weekend or on-call shifts.
