Job Description
Role: Systems Integration Senior Specialist
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain ETL workflows using IBM Infosphere DataStage.
- Write and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation automation and orchestration.
- Implement data pipelines and integrations with Snowflake (schema design query optimization transformation).
- Modernize legacy ETL workflows into cloud-native services (AWS Glue Azure Data Factory Databricks).
- Collaborate with business analysts architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
- Ensure data quality governance and compliance across all platforms.
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize pipelines for performance scalability and cost efficiency.
- Maintain clear documentation for workflows processes and technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7 9 years of ETL development with proven expertise in IBM DataStage.
- 7 9 years of Strong proficiency in Python for automation data processing and integration tasks.
- 7 years of experience Advanced SQL skills for complex data transformations and performance tuning.
- 7 years of experience Solid experience in data modeling (star/snowflake schema dimensional modeling).
- 7 years of experience Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SnowSQL performance tuning data sharing).
- 7 years of experience Cloud data engineering experience with AWS (S3 Glue Redshift Lambda) or Azure (Data Factory Synapse Databricks).
- 7 years of Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD deployment processes.
Good To have Skills:
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark Hadoop Kafka).
- Experience with Airflow or other workflow/orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud-native architectures (Docker Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
