The State of South Carolina Department of Admin is looking for - (2) SAP Programming Consultants Why is this position open: 2 New positions with Department of Admin due to increased workload for SCEIS procurement and modernization projects. Max Bill Rate: $$$/hour Will close to submissions on 9/15/2025 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: Preference will be to perform the interviews in-person where possible but for remote candidates virtually via Teams (w camera) is acceptable. WORKS WITHIN THE TEAM S DEVOPS MODEL AND ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR END-TO-END QUALITY OF THEIR WORK AND SUPPORT. WORKS WITH THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM ARCHITECTURE AND STAKEHOLDERS TO DESIGN AND ENHANCE BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL PROCESSES AND SOLUTIONS. Required Skills 5 YEARS OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT USING SOLID OBJECT-ORIENTED DESIGN PRINCIPALS AND STANDARDS 5 YEARS OF JAVA WEB DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE INCLUDING SPRINGBOOT MAVEN JUNIT 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING CONTAINERIZED APPLICATIONS (CONTAINERIZATION). 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE USING AZURE DEVOPS FOR CICD PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT BACKLOG MANAGEMENT ETC. Education Requirement High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience Preferred Skills AZURE OR AWS INTEGRATION SERVICES SUCH AS AZURE API MANAGEMENT AWS API GATEWAY AZURE EVENTGRID ET SERVERLESS SERVICES SUCH AS AWS LAMclientA AZURE FUNCTIONS AZURE CONTAINER APPS AWS FARGATE ETC. Preferred Certifications: AWS ANDOR AZURE CERTIFICATIONS SAP SAP 4/HANA OR IVALUA EXPERIENCE ANDOR EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER ERP SYSTEMS.
