Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist (MLS / CLS)
Location: 222 Tongass Dr Sitka AK 99835
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Salary Range: $76000 $110000 (based on experience)
Bonuses: $25000 Sign-On $10000 Relocation
Shift: Day shift Full-time Night & weekend call coverage required

Job Description:

Perform all levels of laboratory testing including CLIA-defined high complexity testing.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lab results; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Maintain lab equipment LIS systems and ensure compliance with CAP CLIA and Joint Commission standards.
Assist Laboratory Manager with quality control programs process improvements and staff training.
Provide guidance to Medical Lab Technicians (MLTs) and Lab Support Technicians (LSTs).

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field.
Certification: ASCP AMT or equivalent (required).
Minimum 1 year of progressive clinical/hospital laboratory experience.
Strong generalist skills across chemistry hematology microbiology transfusion medicine and molecular biology.
