What you will be doing:
Represent clients in personal injury cases.
Handle a diverse caseload take depositions argue motions and represent clients in court trials.
Utilize negotiation and litigation skills.
Conduct legal research and stay current with relevant laws and precedents.
Draft legal documents and communicate with clients colleagues and opposing counsel.
Manage a caseload efficiently.
Experience you will need:
Minimum of three years experience in personal injury law.
Juris Doctor degree.
Admission to and good standing with the Maine state bar.
Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail excellent research and analytical skills.
Proficiency in legal research software and tools such as Westlaw.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
