ABOUT THE ROLE
Thiess is on the lookout for a skilled Tyre Fitter to join our team at the Peak Downs coal mining project on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor youll be part of a high-performing crew focused on safety quality and delivering real results.
In this hands-on role youll:
- Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment
- Remove and refit tyres as needed to keep our fleet running efficiently
- Perform routine tyre pressure checks and report any issues
- Access and interpret technical manuals bulletins and digital resources
- Take proactive steps to prevent equipment issues and raise any concerns through the right channels
- Work in alignment with site procedures and safety standards
