The Community Access Driver will be responsible for safely transporting individuals to and from various community activities appointments and events. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities- Provide safe and reliable transportation services for developmentally disabled individuals
- Assist individuals with entering and exiting the vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Communicate effectively with individuals families and staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and services provided
Requirements- Valid Class E in Missouri or Class C in Kansas drivers license and clean driving record
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed the role is mainly Monday-Friday 8:30 to 3:30
