The Client:
Our client is a agency based in Dublin seeking Account Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
The Account Manager acts as the main daily contact to a number of designated accounts. Responsibilities include:
- Profitability manage the total client campaign lifecycle autonomously. A loss leader role may be considered by management for specific campaigns
- Plan time required to deliver client campaigns and manage and report on resources consumed
- Own build and manage the relationship with assigned clients.
- Manage campaign renewal process effectively
- Confidently present complex solutions and issues to clients
- Conceive and execute campaigns that deliver the clients online business objectives
- Negotiate and manage contracts/deals with media owners
- Manage competitive reviews for clients and understand market sector for specific clients
- Ensuring that a positive contribution is made by the individual to the agencys & groups P&L
People Responsibilities
The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that excellence is achieved for the client campaigns for which they are responsible for. Responsibilities include:
- Build and manage effective professional relationships with all colleagues
- Instrumental in the training process for more junior staff and staff less expert in specific areas of digital
- Provide quality control for staff less expert in specific areas of digital
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Report back on opportunities discussed in at meetings
- Preparation and presentation of pitch material for business opportunities. This will generally be completed in association with the digital group head / account director.
- Elicit opportunities from clients and identify solutions
- Support and contribute to new client and existing client business development activity
Knowledge Development & Dissemination Responsibilities
- Delivering research in regard to digital media for the Irish market and investigating new opportunities regarding digital media placements
- Taking responsibility for driving the agencies competence in a specific area of emerging technology via the Championing programme
Salary and benefits
- This is a account manager to senior account manager position depending on experience. The salary range is 35k - 45k.
