Key Accountabilities.
In this role youll be setting the standard for safety. Lead with care in making sure safe work practices are part of everything you do.
Youll also play a key part in helping the team adapt to changes that improve how we work together across operations and maintenance.
Delivering great service is central to what we do so you will be helping us meet customer expectations while staying true to our values.
You will be involved in both fabrication and repairs using existing design standards or contributing to the Safety in Design process across all the Treatment and Resource Recovery assets.
You will be responsible for keeping equipment and machinery in good working order making sure everything meets engineering and legal standards.
If you spot opportunities to improve safety or efficiency youll share those with your Team Leader.
And above all youll take ownership of your own safety and behaviour while encouraging your team to do the same.
Key skills and experience:
We are seeking a Fabrication/Welding Trade qualified candidate ideally possessing experience in:
Your dedication to Occupational Health and Safety including hazard identification and well-developed communication skills are essential for this position along with the following:
