To keep pace with our development Datawords is looking for a: Translator (English and/or French-Traditional Chinese)
We are looking for a high caliber person to join our Hong Kong office to translate various types of texts notably marketing materials press releases catalogues websites CRM etc. for our major clients specialized in luxury fashion cosmetic and lifestyle industries. Working closely with our Project Managers you will provide quality translation based on our clients linguistic requirements and expectations.
Job Description:
- Translate various types of texts (mainly marketing materials press releases catalogues websites) from English and/or French into Traditional Chinese;
- Handle editorial creation tasks occasionally;
- Perform language related tasks;
Requirements:
- Degree holder in translation or related disciplines with a good sense of language usage and stylistics;
- Working languages: native in Traditional Chinese excellent command of English and/or French;
- Translation or copy-editing background in marketing field with excellent writing skills. Good knowledge of luxury industry will be a plus;
- Great adaptability: appreciation for a young and multicultural work environment;
- Strong work ethic team player;
- Excellent knowledge of office tools (office suite) required; experience with Trados and machine translation is a plus.
