Job Description Summary
As a (Junior) Space Planner you are responsible for aligning office layouts and space utilization strategies with the Clients business objectives across Europe. You coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to support real estate operations manage space planning projects and ensure efficient use of workplace resources. Your role involves analyzing space requirements supporting project documentation and contributing to strategic planning through cross-functional collaboration and timely reporting. This role is based onsite with our client in Düsseldorf.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply the Clients Design Guide Book to develop space plans aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather space requirements and assist in completing Space Application forms within deadlines.
- Design layouts for existing office spaces considering capacity traffic flow and Clients standards.
- Coordinate with external architects engineers consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with space planning objectives.
- Support the Real Estate team in cross-departmental collaboration including organizing meetings preparing minutes and summarizing planning activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all space planning projects and develop comprehensive site maps with building data floor plans workstation counts and visuals.
- Provide preliminary solutions for new office selection or layout improvements of existing leased spaces ensuring proposals are practical cost-effective and implementable.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong organizational and communication skills especially in multicultural environments.
- Experience in space planning design program CAD program workplace strategy or real estate project coordination.
- Familiarity with documentation platforms such as Tririga or similar systems is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese or German is an advantage.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
