Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources SUBJECT: District Instructional Leadership Coach (Language Acquisition) Qualifications: Licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in English as a Second Language (ESL) or Teacher of Bilingual Education (TBE)Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics English as a Second Language or Bilingual Education preferredAt least three years of successful teaching experience with multilingual learners at the elementary levelFamiliarity with Massachusetts and district curriculum programs and legal/regulatory requirementsExpertise with ESL and multilingual learner education teaching methodologies and best teaching practices in literacy development and content area skills in data-driven practice leadership communication problem-solving collaboration and organizationAble to support positive systemic change focused on student outcomes through flexible creative problem solvingDuties and Responsibilities: teacher efficacy by collaboratively engaging in student-centered coaching cycles focused on the use of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and data driven equitable access for all students to rigorous grade level standards through collaborative instructional inquiry with all aspects of implementation of required district curriculum resources and assessment with other members of the Office of Teaching and Learning to plan and facilitate high quality professional development that is aligned with district duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Office of Teaching and : Teachers salary Schedule plus up to five days beyond the teacher work year to be compensated at the individuals per diem rate of pay. Plus $2000.A resume of professional experience should accompany the letter of intent.
