The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is currently looking for an GPG Switchgear GPS Manager for the High Voltage Business to join their team. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

How youll make an impact
Overall responsible for the maintenance of Product Master Data for all Switchgear products; LTB DTB PASS and GIS
Lead motivate and develop the GPG GPS Portfolio Coordinators and their teams
Define and manage overall GPS structure and annual budget together with GPG TM
In collaboration with BU GPS Manager define and continuously improve GPS processes tools and KPIs with maximum commonality across GPG and facilitate the implementation of processes and tools
Define GPS global footprint strategy for the GPG together with GPG TM and TCM and facilitate the knowledge transfer among TCs
Facilitate the collaboration and information flow across various products / platforms within and among the GPGs
Responsible for GPS Audits within GPG to all relevant production locations
Lead or contribute to main ongoing GPS / DtV / R&D / ToP / Q- projects in the GPG. (Typically SteCo member.)
Lead Change Review Boards defined together with GPG TM
Your background
Familiar with Master Data Management and related systems: Windchill / SAP
Experience with Business Process Management is beneficial
Background and experience in the manufacturing industry is beneficial
R&D Quality and Operations Tools such as: Lean 6 Sigma D-FMEA P-FMEA 8D Reliability Engineering
Strong leadership intercultural and interpersonal skills
Proven track-record in project- line- or change management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Readiness for global travel
Fluent English communication skills & good local language skills of the major country of responsibility
To be successful in this role you are flexible with good communication skills and hold a strong customer focus
Multi culture experience is a benefit
Relevant engineering degree additional business management degree is beneficial
10 years of professional experience in high-voltage products
Very strong computer skills MS Office CAD (Creo/Windchill) SAP
