Employment Type: On-Call RN License Required

Great opportunity for an RN with hospice experience to pick up hours that will work
within your current schedule. St. Camillus Hospice is a non-profit Medicare-certified
hospice provider located in Wauwatosa Wisconsin.

Job Standards:
  • Current Wisconsin RN license
  • Hospice Experience Preferred
  • Respond to all after hour/weekend phone calls within 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Arrives to clients home in response to after hour/weekend calls within an hour of the call. Some
  • visits will be to pronounce a death.
  • Determines and implements appropriate intervention for after-hour/weekend clients as needed.
  • Responsible for the completions of clinical records according to on call guidelines.
  • Communicates changes of condition and progress of clients with appropriate Hospice team
  • members.
  • Responsible for 10-12 on-call shifts per month with one weekend per month and holiday rotation
  • Responsible to triage calls phone calls and prioritize visits as requested.
  • Responsible for working with the on-call team to ensure continuous on call coverage.
