About the Role

Drive excellence in high-end audio brands (JBL/Mark Levinson/Revel) by leading supplier quality initiatives deploying advanced quality methods analyzing field data to improve reliability collaborating cross-functionally to achieve quality targets conducting rigorous supplier audits and leveraging manufacturing expertise to elevate product performance and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute your talents to high-end esteemed brands like JBL Mark Levinson and Revel

  • Create pitch-perfect cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience
  • Lead and manage Consumer Audio SBU suppliers towards achieving breakthrough quality and reliability improvements
  • Lead deployment of modern and effective quality methods and tools across supplier processes
  • Internalize and deploy warranty and field failure PPM metrics and goals with alignment to key process improvement areas including manufacturing test and development processes for Consumer SBU
  • Work closely with sourcing team to drive supplier performance towards achievement of defined goals using the supplier scorecard process
  • Foster teamwork with the regional quality and product teams to insure total alignment of efforts and objectives
  • Use quality data effectively and frequently to focus efforts on top priorities and achieving results
  • Lead and lever outsourcing to perform supplier source inspection AQL using 0.4/major acceptance criteria
  • Develop and deploy new product release plan to achieve quality performance requirements especially for Reliability part
  • Respond aggressively to customer and regional quality team complaints by driving systematic countermeasures and preventive actions with suppliers from manufacturing perspective
  • Be a expertise in Consumer Audio products manufacturing area
  • Perform regular supplier and potential supplier audit from Supplier Quality perspective

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelors degree
  • 8 years in supplier quality management with proven and significant results
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in the use of quality tools and methods; Six Sigma preferred
  • Strong electronics background in audio/video technology and manufacturing
  • Strong applied experience of ISO9001 and TS16949 quality standards
  • Strong experience with program transferred is preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma with Green Belt certification Black Belt preferred
  • Proficiency in production process control and cosmetic and finish requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication and influence skills
  • Customer focus with urgency responsiveness and initiative to action
  • Data and fact driven with strong analytical skills
  • Results driven and strives to meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
  • Strong team player and builds trust and confidence with suppliers and internal teams
  • Black Belt / Lean Expert certification preferred
  • Knowledge of cosmetics and finish control preferred
  • Experience with ISO standards and supplier quality auditing
  • Working knowledge of QS TS and APQP standards and processes preferred
  • Strong background in Statistical Process Control capability analysis (Cp Cpk)
  • Customer focus with urgency responsiveness and initiative to action
  • Data and fact driven with strong analytical skills
  • Results driven and strives to meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership and will go the extra mile to getting things done
  • Strong team player and builds trust and confidence with suppliers and internal teams
