About This Role:
Pacha Soap Co. is on a mission to create natural sustainable products that not only benefit our customers but also make a positive impact on the world. The Packing Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the Operations Team with a range of responsibilities across manufacturing. This role ensures smooth and timely delivery of daily production schedules while upholding Pachas standards of people leadership safety quality and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who is a great people leader detail-oriented eager to learn has an owners mindset and looking to grow within a purpose-driven and fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and interact in a way that is consistent with Pacha Core Values.
- Execute and manage the daily production plan ensuring schedule adherence in the pack area.
- Supervise and support a team of 20 employees through collaboration with Line Leads and other operations support roles.
- Monitor labor deployment material availability and equipment functionality to prevent bottlenecks related to product packaging and staffing.
- Collaborate across fulfillment scheduling maintenance and purchasing to ensure alignment and understanding of priorities risks and plans.
- Oversee training and enforcement of company quality and safety policies.
- Prepare or oversee completion of key reports including daily production adherence stockout and breakdown logs safety observations and other emerging metrics.
- Maintain and improve efficiency and organization on the floor setting a clear example of operational discipline.
- Model respectful and professional behavior maintaining a calm presence during high-pressure situations.
- Take ownership of weekend or overtime coverage as needed in coordination with the Senior Operations Manager.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated people leadership and respect among peers with a proven ability to communicate effectively motivate influence and enforce standards.
- Proficiency in floor operating systems and inventory management tools.
Must Haves:
- Strong sense of ownership accountability and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and shift priorities to meet daily targets.
- The ability to work on the packaging floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment including standing stooping reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for occasional weekend or overtime shift leadership.
- Minimum of 5 years experience leading people in a manufacturing environment.
