T Mia Regional Youth Forensics Services is dedicated to providing exceptional forensic psychiatric care to young individuals within our region. We are committed to transforming lives through comprehensive evidence-based treatment and support within a framework of legal and ethical integrity.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. This role is pivotal in delivering specialised mental health services to youth involved in the forensic system. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the legal and ethical landscape ensuring the highest standards of care.

You must be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand () with a current Annual Practising Certificate or eligible for the same.
It is essential that you have experience with child services and neurodevelopment pathways. Also essential is experience and interest in community care for client and adolescents with developmental disorders.
