Impact Solutions Lab (ISL) currently runs the following three projects.

The Adira Academy

Mission: To empower promising young women from disadvantaged backgrounds with world-class higher education mentorship and emerging career pathways equipping them to excel uplift communities and drive systemic change.

Approach:

1. Identify capable and academically oriented girl students from economically weaker sections (EWS) backgrounds.

2. Create an ecosystem that provides comprehensive support including knowledge skills growth mindset and networking opportunities while empowering them to exercise agency develop risk-taking aptitude and enhance decision-making skills.

3. Foster the development of values-driven leaders who can address complex community challenges.

4. Prepare students for admission to top global universities and success in emerging career pathways.

Adira Academy is a microschool that delivers a selfpaced masterybased curriculum aligned with NIOS and AP standards enriched by career and leadership pathways. Dedicated to empowering highpotential girls from underrepresented backgrounds our model combines academic excellence mentorship wellbeing support and realworld experiences in a fully virtual setting (Adira Academy).

Students in Grades 9 and 10 participate parttime (in parallel with their regular schooling) while Grades 11 and 12 are enrolled fulltime.

The Critical

Literacy Project (CLP)

Mission: We create professional development spaces focused on critical thinking tailored to educators needs and build communities to engage in critical discussion.

Project Goal: To build a long-term and sustainable teacher-learning solutions for Critical Literacy that include upskilling acquiring knowledge and continuous reflection

AI for SI

AI for SI is a social impact project that we are currently running in Chennai and Pune but it will be expanded to other cities in the coming year.

Project Mission

Our mission is to build a comprehensive Community Map of low-income communities across India by leveraging AI extensive surveys and drone mapping. This map will serve as a crucial tool for NGOs and government agencies to implement data-driven interventions that drive impactful change.

Objectives:

A data hub on top of an LLM for easy access and queries to the community map.

AI predictive model for interventions and data

extrapolations of future communities.

Form a network of NGOs Government Agencies Schools and Universities to use the data to implement effective interventions in marginalised communities. This will give them a running start.

Data integrity: Continual surveys. Effect of interventions

The Chief of Staff will provide support to the Director of Curriculum in implementing a visionary academic program ensuring excellence in learning design student support faculty development and strategic growth. This position is central to building an inclusive ecosystem that supports highachieving girls in realizing their academic and leadership potential by way of closely monitoring and developing instructional capacity.

1. Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Direction

Enable the implementation of the academys mission values and strategic plan in alignment with its socialimpact goals.

Advise the leadership team on school performance and necessary strategic pivots in curriculum and pedagogy.

Academic & Curriculum Oversight

Support the design and refinement of an mastery-based AI-forward curriculum that integrates NIOS coursework AP subjects and Seminars courses.

Ensure alignment between self-paced modules and live instruction and maintain rigor and consistency in mastery-based learning.

Student Experience & Well-being

Oversee student well-being initiatives including social-emotional learning advisory structures and access to appropriate support resources.

Design and execute student clubs and residency experiences such as theatre music and other Adira Edge activities that contribute to leadership development and global awareness.

Real-World Experience

Directly manage student passion projects and liaise with the Programs Team for the smooth execution of the Career Exposure Program summer opportunities and college research initiatives.

Oversee and support college pathway planning to ensure students are well-prepared for admissions to top global universities.

Faculty & Staff Development

Recruit train and evaluate skilled online educators mentors and staff.

Promote ongoing professional growth and instructional quality through reflective practices and targeted professional development through internal and external means.

Operations & Compliance

Oversee the use of digital infrastructure educational technology AI agents and data systems to optimize learning and measure impact.

Ensure academic integrity student safeguarding and adherence to relevant regulatory and privacy frameworks.

College & Career Preparation

Guide a comprehensive college-counseling process including SAT/AP prep career exposure and global internship opportunities.

Monitor student progression through milestones and maintain strong alumni support networks.

2. Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years in school administration preferably in online mastery-based or social impact education.

Deep knowledge of NIOS and/or AP programmes; proficiency in inquirybased pedagogies and blended learning.

Established experience in mentorship leadership development and gender-inclusive educational environments.

Strong communication and community engagement skills.

Commitment to the mission of empowering underrepresented girls through rigorous academic and leadership growth.
