Job Summary
Civil Engineer - Land Development (EIT)
Location: Greenville SC (Fully Onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time Direct Placement
Compensation: $34 to $48 per hour DOE OT paid at 1.5x
Estimated Annual: $70000 to $100000
Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without employer sponsorship
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM overtime as needed
About the role
Staff level Civil Engineer supporting production of site development plans for commercial industrial and residential projects. Team oriented collaborative environment.
What you will do
Produce civil plan sheet sets for construction
Observe installation testing and inspection of site utilities (sewer water) proof rolls SWPPP inspections
Support senior engineers; resolve plan and field issues
Perform hydraulics and pipe design calculations; draft drainage reports watershed studies project narratives
Address redline comments from review agencies and senior engineers
Education and certifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
EIT required
What you bring
3 to 8 years in civil engineering - land development
AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency preferred; MicroStation acceptable; Microsoft Office required
Working knowledge of stormwater water and sewer site layout and permitting (local state federal)
Willingness to learn from engineering staff; strong communication and problem solving
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines; collaborative working style
