Job Summary

As a Project Engineer you will demonstrate leadership communicate business goals and provide support in team management and coordination for engineered solutions. You will drive the performance and quality of an engineering team to ensure that all executed activities meet required short-term and long-term business goals. This role can be performed remotely or based out of Houston TX or Lake Mary FL.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to achieve safety quality on-time delivery and talent retention goals.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers including cross-cultural and diverse teams to ensure successful planning and execution of multi-discipline control systems.
Expand the teams technical skillset portfolio to support business growth.
Travel domestically to customer sites up to 25% or as needed.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Control Systems Computer Engineering or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in SCADA system design integration or industrial automation.
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley Siemens Schneider Emerson etc.) and HMI development alarming trending and control logic.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus DNP3 IEC 61850 OPC TCP/IP.
Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity concepts within industrial control systems.
Hands-on experience with control system architecture testing commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems.
