Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with proven experience managing large-scale building automation and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record overseeing projects valued at $3M- $5M or more with the ability to step into a $10M mixed-use development in Beverly Hills that includes hospitality and high-end residential components.

This role requires a professional with strong leadership financial acumen and engineering knowledge who can effectively deliver complex projects while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client meetings related to project execution while maintaining strong relationships with clients vendors subcontractors and industry partners.
  • Develop and update project implementation plans coordinating resources for timely cost-effective installation and project completion.
  • Complete concept engineering and prepare full project estimates.
  • Manage project financials including cost cash flow and billing to achieve profitability and financial goals.
  • Oversee engineering job processes ensuring compliance with specifications codes materials and safety requirements.
  • Configure design and engineer systems to meet project requirements; customize controls software as needed.
  • Manage material procurement: selecting vendors monitoring inventory and securing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Plan and supervise commissioning and system checkout prior to owner/operator handoff.
  • Anticipate potential project challenges and proactively resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure a seamless transition post-project.
  • Provide leadership direction and technical support to field staff subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company and industry safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering and 10 years of related experience OR an Associate degree with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry preferably with large-scale or complex projects.
  • Proven ability to manage projects valued at $3M- $5M.
  • Strong financial management skills including budgeting cost allocation and billing practices.
  • Familiarity with construction trade labor practices and subcontractor management.
  • Hands-on experience with building automation systems and ability to work with ALC programming and operations (or willingness to train).
  • Excellent communication client-facing and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity accountability and leadership in project execution.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $150K- $160K
  • Annual performance-based bonus up to $20K
