COUNSELLING AND DEVELOPMENT SECTION

Guidance Services Officer ()

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticteam player to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with psychological counsellors and the SEN (Special Educational Needs) team to organise programmes that support students adjustment integration and psychological wellbeing as well as provide mentoring and advising for students.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external parties and professionals to organise and deliver programmes activities and workshops for students;
  • Provide mentoring and support to students with diverse needs;
  • Advise and guide student leaders;
  • Organise and supervise students in outbound study tours;
  • Produce promotional materials for programmes and activities; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree or above;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification work experience;
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Genuine interest in psychological wellbeing and supporting students with diverse needs;
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and graphic design software; and
  • Experience in organising wellness programmes and serving SEN students is an advantage.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract for two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
