As a Field Service Engineer(FSE) of ASML Semiconductor equipment (Lithography) you will support the customer and our operation through equipment support performance monitoring mechanical/pneumatics/electrical/optical repairs and maintenance.
In case of difficult and unique issues happen escalate to the next line to get suitable help in proper timing to secure tangible actions and solution with an ultimate view towards committed performance to the customer.
The FSE team will be on a 24hx7 coverage primarily commuting from our ASML order to do so more than 50% of the working hours is expected to be at customer site working with the systems. The candidates need to work flexibly in shift work (12 hours/shift day or night) or as generalist (day shift).
As an FSE you are expected to cover not only Scanner but also to be capable to support EUV Source and CO2 Drive laser with the appropriate trainings provided.
On-site work by shift pattern ensuring quick response for machine issues
Maintain and optimize equipment on a daily basis to enhance functionality and prevent problems.
Assist and communicate with the customer in a professional manner
Take a pro-active approach by monitoring machine status to prevent Unscheduled down
First responder on the machine for executing Unscheduled and Scheduled maintenance activities
Diagnose and solve issues Define problem statement analyze data find root cause drive actions
Collaboration - Work with colleagues customer & field support in solving problems.
Initiate escalation when needed
Ensure SO quality & thoroughness including PCCSIM and escalation evaluation to identify lessons learned
Manage the cycle time of stock aging to meet the ASML KPIs
Back end call handling confirm the material create MN close SO initiate IRP
Monitor safety situation if situation assessed unsafe; stop work and initiate safety escalation
Last but not least: Be the front runner in Japan supporting EUV new technology and continuously seek new knowledge and improvements in daily operation through own initiatives and open discussions
Bachelor in Electrical Technology Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering Physics Electronics Electric engineering (Applied) Physics or comparable
More than 2 years of experience in semiconductor industry or equivalent is preferred
DUV/EUV experience engineers highly welcome

For the DUV experience only candidates it will take several months to acquire the technical skills needed for the leading edge technology system. We are committed to provide sufficient training opportunities and OJT but to achieve that it will require flexibility to travel to other countries including NL USA Germany Taiwan and Korea with short notice if needed with uninterrupted periods up to 4 weeks or more in a row.
