Summary
Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse positions. Full-time and Part-time temporary opportunities are available with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Performs varied responsibilities such as:
- Driving tender truck ensuring timely deliveries to customers and applicators
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal laws and regulations (pre-trip load securement etc.)
- Maintain a clean vehicle
- Maintain safety policy and completing training
- Accurately complete daily pre-trip inspections and notify supervisors of any needed repairs

Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills & Relevant Experience
- Truck driving experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus
- Knowledge of farm operations is a plus
- Experience operating a manual transmission a plus
- Ag background preferred
Requirements
- Must hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL and appropriate driving record; or ability to obtain a Season Class B
- Must hold and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate card
- Must pass a DOT/Pre-employment drug screen
- HazMat & Tanker Endorsements preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Ag-Industry Hours - Must be willing to work overtime and weekends to meet seasonal demands.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
