Job Summary

The Office Administrator will provide administrative support for the Contextual Education Program. The responsibilities include correspondence with contextual education sites recording keeping and database maintenance related to student placements and completion technical support of the Office of Contextual Education through facilitating TEAMS maintaining updates on Canvas MyGETS and .

The ideal candidate will have related experience that demonstrates they:

  • are more than proficient/well versed in Microsoft TEAMS and Office 365 Suite;
  • are proficient in Canvas and MyGETS;
  • have excellent communication/correspondence and relational skills;
  • are prepared to represent the mission and values of Garrett Seminary and the Contextual Education Program in all interactions and correspondence among and between Garrett constituents and outside partners;
  • can be expected to complete administrative tasks in an organized and timely manner.

General dutiesof the position:

  • screen all voicemail and email and direct/respond;
  • track website Canvas MyGETS and distributed publications for needed updates;
  • complete other administrative and record keeping duties as assigned by Director of Contextual Education;
  • maintain all contextual education student files;
  • provide TEAMS technical and hospitality support for all Contextual Education Orientations and trainings;
  • complete other duties as assigned by Director of Contextual Education.

Field Education and Immersive Learning Courses:

  • maintain database of Field Education and Immersive Learning Course students and placements;
  • maintain email;
  • update and distribute documents/information relevant to the Field Education course.

CPE:

  • maintain CPE Student database;
  • update distribute and track documents related to CPE;
  • posting of CPE programs.

MAPCC Clinical Track:

  • maintain Clinic Sites database;
  • Basic information on clientele hours location contact etc.
  • maintain database of MAPCC students.
  • Distribute and track all documents related to MAPCC Clinical Track Degree
