Student Worker Research Assistant 18-th-Century Womens Anti-Libraries Project

Number of Openings: 1

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

To provide research assistance and support for my ongoing project on the writings of 18th-c women left unfinished due to maternal death

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tasks associated with literature review: article searches in academic/peer-reviewed journals
  • Investigate and catalogue digital humanities projects related to maternal mortality/womens bodies
  • Research repositories of manuscripts housing fragmentary and unfinished writings
  • Help organize research findings into digital archive maintained by faculty member

Qualifications/Skills:

  • One semester of 18th-c. Literature and or Art History
  • Reading knowledge in French Spanish or German
