Job Summary

The Head HRBP provides leadership and strategic direction to the HRBPs and Sr HRBPs that support IT Farmers Business Solutions and Service role proactively partners with the Head of HR Partnerships and reporting HRBPs in managing and coordinating a full range of strategic and HR requirements to ensure the achievement of business primary purpose of this role is to promote a positive productive diverse and supportive working environment and culture within the organization.

This position serves as the principle Human Resource Business Partner and relationship manager. As a key contributor to the business leadership team consult on human capital initiatives which will impact overall business objectives and strategies specifically in the areas of strategic workforce planning organization and job design talent management organizational and performance management learning compensation and operations. Partner with PCC Leadership Team to contribute to people strategy creation and day-to-day plans for Farmers HR team overall.

Essential Job Functions

  • Facilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda.
  • Ensure leadership and coaching culture is cascaded throughout the organization.
  • Provide clear leadership by demonstrating understanding of business trends and needs.
  • Drive the people processes (performance development and career) to ensure that employee level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards.
  • Accountable for working with executive leadership team to formulate the human capital strategy and workforce plan for attracting and retaining talent; implementing the necessary processes and practicespolicies in support of human capital.
  • Accountable for translating business demand into HR service delivery needs while leveraging the resources available through Centers of Expertise (e.g. staffing compensation benefits etc.) and back office operations or shared services.
  • Accountable for working with the senior leadership team to build an effective organizational design and leadership team.

Experience Requirements

  • 10 years of experience leading significant and broad initiatives within the human resource discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing HR strategy in a dynamic fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong relationship skills and influencing capabilities to work effectively with business clients and as a true thought leader and partner.
  • Business acumen and intellectual curiosity about the business client and industry.
  • Prior experience working with other business clients and partners.

Education Requirements

  • Education credentials should include an undergraduate degree in business or human resource management with an advanced degree preferred.

Additional Qualifications

  • The technical skills required are analytical skills business acumen innovative and creative thinking strategic agility critical thinking and influencing/negotiating and relationship management.
  • Organizational design skills or the ability to identify organizational needs and broker technical skills is critical.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Must have strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Requires in depth knowledge of people strategies communication strategies and influencing/negotiating techniques.

Physical Actions

This role whether performed virtually or in an office setting will include normal and customary distractions noise and interruptions. Sits or stands for extended periods of time up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Occasionally moves lifts carries and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. / Listens to interprets and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands arms and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
