Our initiatives help stimulate housing development allowing families to thrive and neighborhoods to provide a full range of housing choices and opportunities. A critical part of supporting this mission is to monitor the long-term sustainability and affordable housing compliance of the City of Seattles investment in multifamily rental projects that receive direct capital investment. The Office of Housing is currently seeking an Asset Manager for this body of work.
Under the supervision of the Asset Management Division Manager this position will assist in overseeing the Citys direct investment in affordable multifamily housing rental projects.

This civil service position is classified as a Community Development Specialist and is eligible for overtime.
Schedule: This position is a hybrid position with employees expected to work in person 3 days a week and 2 days a week remotely. The employee in this position will periodically be required to travel to meetings perform site visits and perform other responsibilities away from your primary work location.
Salary: The full salary range for this step-progression position is $45.74 - $53.27 per hour. New employees begin at Step 1 of the pay progression which is $45.74 hourly. Current City employees starting rate of pay will be based on the Personnel Rules regarding promotions.

Hiring Timeline:We anticipate conducting the first and second rounds of interviews during the second and third weeks of October 2025. Our goal is to have the selected new hire start in November 2025.
