Job Summary
Summary
The Warehouse & Delivery Associate supports operations by ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining an organized warehouse. This role ensures materials are delivered safely and efficiently and supports general inventory pickup and warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver flooring materials to job sites using the company van
- Operate forklift to receive and organize inventory (training available)
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and maintaining warehouse cleanliness
- Pick up supplies or returns from vendors
- Occasionally support basic computer or office tasks
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
- Reliable courteous and team-oriented
- Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
- Basic computer skills preferred
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift carry push and pull flooring materials and other items up to 80 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing walking bending stooping and reaching throughout the workday
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Comfortable loading and unloading delivery vehicles including lifting materials above shoulder height when necessary
- Must be able to climb in and out of delivery vans and navigate job sites including stairs or uneven surfaces
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat cold and inclement weather during deliveries or warehouse tasks
- Occasional sitting while driving or performing computer-based tasks
- Manual dexterity to use hand tools warehouse equipment and mobile devices
