Now Hiring: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Brooklyn Park MN
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour depending on experience Profit Sharing
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:45pm
Employment Type: Full time direct hire
About this Opportunity:
The Maintenance Technician will perform daily checks on plastic injection molding machines and other production equipment to prevent malfunctions and reduce machine downtime.
What Youll Be Doing:
Perform preventative maintenance on all injection molding machines and equipment
Daily communication with Supervisors and employees on cleaning greasing and oiling large plastic injection molding machines
Replacing air oil and water filters
Inspection of all electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic components
Order parts as needed
Maintain safety features on equipment
Maintain records on repairs and PMs to meet the requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor
Perform any other plant PM or repairs to include lighting and auxiliary equipment
Maintain cleanliness standards at all times per Housekeeping Responsibilities
Utilize safety equipment at all times as appropriate for the work being performed
Actively participates in the safety program
Completes special projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager
What makes you a great fit:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues in plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors colleagues and other departments to clearly document issues and solutions.
A deep understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience with meter reading and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
