Position Overview
Were looking for a Platform Engineer to build and maintain observability platforms that ensure system reliability performance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has deep experience with tools like ELK and NewRelic thrives in fast-paced environments and collaborates across teams to deliver scalable monitoring solutions.
What Youll Do
- Design implement and maintain observability platforms for log aggregation metrics and visualization.
- Manage ELK NewRelic and other telemetry platforms ensuring high availability and performance.
- Build data pipelines custom filters and dashboards aligned with business needs.
- Support Unix/Linux administration scripting and container environments.
- Troubleshoot observability issues and collaborate with DevOps development and security teams.
- Document processes and contribute to system improvements and automation.
What Were Looking For
- 5 years in observability platforms (ELK NewRelic Splunk etc.).
- Strong AWS or cloud experience and Unix/Linux administration.
- Expertise in data ingestion parsing visualization and troubleshooting.
- Experience with container tools (Docker Kubernetes) and scripting (Python shell).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
Good to Have
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Ansible CloudFormation).
- DevOps practices monitoring frameworks and security integrations.
