Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree in School Psychology from an accredited university
Certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Kentucky
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
Job Description
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify learning disabilities emotional disturbances and other potential needs
Interpret test results and write comprehensive reports to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
Design and implement individual and group interventions to address academic social emotional and behavioral concerns
Provide crisis intervention and mental health support to students in need
Consult with teachers administrators and parents to develop effective strategies for supporting student success
Collaborate with school social workers guidance counselors and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in school psychology
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments and interventions
