We are now looking for a
Senior PLM Solution Architect
Automotive Business
As a Senior PLM Solution Architect you will play a crucial role in our PLM Team. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into cutting-edge technical solutions. This is your opportunity to lead the design and implementation of PLM solutions that will drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovate and Translate: Convert business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Design Excellence: Craft PLM solutions using Windchill PDMLink ThingWorx Creo and other enterprise systems like ERP and MES.
- Implement and Support: Deploy technology solutions that enhance business operations and understand their critical success factors.
- Data Mastery: Maintain a PLM data model that meets both internal and external requirements.
- Architectural Leadership: Develop and sustain the overall PLM architecture ensuring seamless integration with key enterprise systems.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define technology roadmaps based on the PLM strategy ensuring new capabilities and solutions are developed accordingly.
- Collaborative Workshops: Participate in workshops to identify new opportunities capture requirements evaluate risks and create technical specifications for development teams and external partners.
- Seamless Handover: Ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions by handing over detailed solution documents to development teams.
- Future-Ready: Build new system configurations and customisation/development teams to meet future PLM requirements.
Qualifications
- Masters/bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
- General Management or Project Management certification is a plus.
- 10 years of relevant functional work experience including at least 5 years in leading PLM solutions development.
- Proven experience with Windchill PDMLink Info*Engine ThingWorx and Creo Parametric.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in verbal and written English and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
- Ability to convert customer needs into tangible deliverables.
- Ability to propose and defend technical solutions with both short- and long-term perspectives.
