About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Test Automation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of reliable high-quality IT systems. This role involves working across multiple testing disciplines and technologies with a particular focus on microservices-based architectures. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who excels in designing implementing and maintaining robust automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test strategies plans and test cases.
• Identify and define test scenarios across functional integration and technical layers.
• Develop and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and solutions from the ground up.
• Prepare manage and optimize test data and test environments.
• Perform testing of microservices and RESTful APIs ensuring proper isolation and handling of dependencies.
• Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum or SAFe teams supporting CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Java 21 with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Tools & Technologies:
• RESTful API testing (HTTP methods status codes headers)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Architecture: Deep understanding of microservices principles design and implementation.
• Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• ISTQB Agile Tester certification (or willingness to obtain)
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or willingness to obtain)
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification (or willingness to obtain)
